Here's a coupe more from Bryce. After hiking for about 5 hours or so we had a buffet meal at Ruby's and then an ATV trip back to Bryce canyon. We went in a caravan of 5 vehicles. There was a couple from AZ, a 3 people from WV, very refreshing to here them talk, and we 5, 2 & 3. The lead was the crusty, gruff (in a kindly western way), guide. He took us around private property to find prong horn antelope in the dozens, looked like good eating. There were lots of young which, within 24 hrs. can run with their mothers at a North American animal top speed approaching 50 mph. Another prominent animal in this region is the Raven. Large, black, canny, and unscrupulous, these birds are know for liberating their food indiscriminately, from the backs of pick ups to store parking lots. In Page we had one land on a light pole and drop a load as we (I) approached the driver door. He was a tad early
