Bryce Canyon Hike Pictures

The Bryce Canyon hike was a beautiful!
We enjoyed a nice hike today through, dare I begin to say it; even more beautiful country than we've seen. That may not be true for they are so varied and brutally elegant. These shots were sent to Davy to accumulate and send together. I'm having trouble texting multiple pictures from this region.
We started at the end of the regular trails, Bryce Point. We meandered up and down and around the Rim Trail for miles until we reached the real object, the Navajo. We took switchbacks down to slot canyons and hoodoos and pink coral dunes. We hit trails called Sunrise and Sunset, the boys were humming Fiddler on the Roof, but Sweet K and I were: "Hoodoo, hoodoo you think your foolin'? Yeahyeah!"
Photos from above are Rim, and the lower, maybe more interesting ones are lower on the trails. This is the high desert, horribly dry but also full of life, plants sticking out of hardscrabble like it was set out this spring. The temp was only in the 80's here today. We'll be cold tonight tho.

I am so glad that I am not there to have my blood pressure elevated when I see those boys so close to the edge. Tie a rope around those kids. That way if one falls over the edge they all go. LOL Just kidding. Please be careful but have lots of fun which I can tell that you are.

Awesome, I'm lovin' it! I would be right there on the rocks with you-except for the one with Steve, that one looks a bit iffy to me. Great pics! I just look at anything out there without thinking what an Awesome God that gave us so much beauty to enjoy here on earth. And to think, it's just a glimps of what's to come!
